Arizona Navajo Nation Polling Hours Extension

Lawsuit filed by the Navajo Nation against the Apache County, Arizona recorder, Apache County election director, the Apache County Board of Supervisors and Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) asking to keep the Apache County Many Farms polling site open for two additional hours as the site did not open on time. The plaintiffs request this relief to ensure that members of the Navajo Nation “are not deprived of a meaningful and equal opportunity to vote.” The court granted this request.
