Democratic National Committee v. Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections
Lawsuit filed by the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Party of Georgia against Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections seeking to extend voting hours at two polling locations. CH Gullatt Elementary and Northview High School polling places temporarily closed due to bomb threats requiring the evacuation of voters. The plaintiffs ask the court to extend voting hours at CH Gullatt Elementary until 7:38 p.m. and Northview High School until 7:18 p.m. Additionally, they ask that voters who arrive at the two locations after 7 p.m. be allowed to cast a provisional ballot.
STATUS: The Democratic plaintiffs filed their complaint on Nov. 5, 2024.
