Georgia Runoff Election Challenge #4
Georgia Republican Party v. Raffensperger
Lawsuit filed by Georgia Republican Party, National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), the Perdue and Loeffler Senate campaigns and three voters seeking to prohibit people who voted for a Senate candidate in the 2020 election in a different state from voting in the Jan. 5 Georgia Senate runoff elections and to segregate all ballots cast by voters who registered to vote between Nov. 4 and Dec. 7, 2020. After the district court dismissed the case, the Georgia Republican Party and other plaintiffs appealed to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals but soon thereafter filed a voluntary notice of dismissal.
This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
