Nevada Election Law Contest
Law v. Whitmer
Election contest filed by individual Trump electors in Nevada alleging voter fraud in the state due to the signature matching machines used to count ballots. The state district court granted the defendants’ motion to dismiss, finding that the contestants failed to provide “credible and relevant evidence” to support their allegations of fraud. The contestants appealed the decision to the Nevada Supreme Court, which affirmed the district court.
This case was one of the lawsuits former President Donald Trump and his allies brought in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
