Wisconsin Student ID

Lawsuit filed by the Andrew Goodman Foundation and an individual voter challenging Wisconsin’s student ID restriction that required valid student IDs to include an issuance date, an expiration date no more than two years from the date of issuance and a signature. The plaintiffs also challenge the rule that any voter who wishes to use their student ID to vote must also prove current enrollment in the school. The district court denied the plaintiffs’ request for injunctive relief and consolidated the case with a similar one. The plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed the case.
