Michigan Board of State Canvassers to Issue Final Certification
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Despite pressure by the Trump campaign, the Michigan Board of State Canvassers will convene today at 1:00 p.m. ET to certify the results of the Nov. 3, 2020 general election, formally declaring President-elect Joe Biden the winner of the state. The Michigan secretary of state’s office has recommended that the Board of State Canvassers promptly certify the statewide results based on the fact all 83 counties have certified their official results. Biden carried the state by over 154,000 votes.
